| Welcome to our web site! Come on in and visit awhile. Stroll through our pages and learn about our studs, our queen and our kittens. We have also added a page about us and our home. We are a small cattery that raises our cats in our home, therefore preparing them for you and your home. Here are few words about us:
We have lived in Colorado for the past 35 years and enjoy living in a small community situated between Denver and Colorado Springs. We live on 5 acres that has pines and aspen trees and lots of tranquility. The deer, elk and bear along with other wildlife are our neighbors and we all coexist here in our small private world.
There is a lot of history here and we love exploring the area and learning about all the past that is still here. If you do not know the past then you cannot live in the present. Our love for the wildlife and our cats has us involved in many different organizations such as the Yellowstone wildlife fund, the Best Friends organization and the High on Cats club along with TICA. It all started with a tiny kitten being sold from a trailer house filled with too many cats to count. We bought the kitten not knowing who his Daddy was - the lady said he was just a wild cat that wandered through the park. All we knew was that we were saving him from a fate worse than death. We named this little kitten Bob – and called him Bobkitty. Our sweet little cat grew very fast and began resembling a Bobcat, but with a very sweet and loving temperament. We realized that this kitten was not a Manx, and that he was not just a cat. We accidentally found a photo of a Pixiebob in a book and that is when we knew that Bobkitty was a member of the Pixiebob family. Bobkitty was more like a dog than a cat, he would growl when the doorbell would ring. he would play games with us, we could walk him around outside and then he would come in with us when we called him. Bobkitty never meowed like a normal cat, he just make a little sound that was like “rink”.
We knew that we were in love with a unique breed of cat. Bobkitty passed away all to soon, and we knew the only way to fill that void in our heart was to find another Pixiebob. We did find another Pixiebob and suddenly the need to share this fantastic breed of cat with others was born. Now, we would like to help you find your next special cat. You can teach them to play fetch, or possibly walk on a leash. If we do not have what you are looking for we can refer you to someone who might have that special new friend. shipping is available!
