"Sasha
of Stone Island was acquired from a couple who lived on Mt. Baker
highway. His mother, Belle,
was a short tailed classic patterned female having polydactyl feet
and his sire is unknown but the legend has it that he was a bobcat.
As the legend goes, she had escaped from the house, and was seen fighting
off a bobcat, according to the people from whom the kitten was adopted.
A litter of 5 spotted kittens soon followed. Sasha was one of them,
the first of the yet unplanned Pixie-Bob program."
